Veil of Wings- Current Series
Veil of Wings is a series of semi-abstract portraits that explore the liminal space between transformation and self-concealment. Each figure is partially obscured by a butterfly — a symbol of metamorphosis — veiling the eyes to suggest a fragmented or evolving identity, and represent inner vision, mystery, and the unseen self. The figures exist in a sacred in-between: not fully seen, not fully revealed.
Layered acrylic textures create dimensional, almost otherworldly surfaces, while gold leaf halos and luminous color palettes evoke celestial bodies, divine icons, and cosmic energy. The figures are framed not as individuals, but as archetypes of inner change — radiant and untethered, caught in the act of becoming. Through the interplay of nature, spirituality, and abstraction, Veil of Wings invites reflection on what it means to transform, to transcend, and to be veiled — even from oneself.
"Solar Flare"

A radiant red figure emerges from a textured yellow field, their eyes obscured by a vivid blue butterfly. A halo of gold leaf crowns them, pulsing with solar energy and divine symbolism. Solar Flare evokes the raw, sacred force of becoming — a visual eruption of transformation, power, and inner illumination.
"Nebula Flame"

In cool hues of deep blue, a quiet figure gazes inward, their eyes hidden by a glowing orange butterfly — a spark of fire in a field of calm. Accents of gold leaf shimmer softly, echoing stardust. Nebula Flame captures the mystery of emergence — the birth of self, burning slowly into being, like a star within a nebula.
